Below the Brine Bookshop is a newly opened, independent bookstore located in the heart of Harwich Port. On our shelves, you’ll find a regularly updated selection of new books for all ages, including children, middle grades and young adults.

We focus on recently released and indie next list titles, and we also stock locally made greeting cards, notebooks and fun finds for creative minds.

Our shop takes its name from the poem, The World Below the Brine. We believe that, like the sea, books have the power to immerse us in new worlds and encourage us to explore new perspectives. Follow us to see what’s arriving on our shelves!
